This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Houston peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. It took me months to finally leave this review, but Pin Ramen absolutely deserves it. This place is such a hidden gem! and i selfishly want it to stay hidden The atmosphere is always quiet, and welcoming. The owners, are some of the kindest people you’ll meet. They do run the restaurant , They’re always so friendly and make you feel right at home. The service is consistently excellent, and you can tell they truly care about their customers. I have to mention the spicy edamame , it is hands down the BEST I’ve ever had. I’ve ordered spicy edamame from so many different restaurants, and nothing even comes close to theirs. It’s a must-try! Their ramen is also the best I’ve had. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. On top of that, their prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and portions you get. I genuinely hope more people discover this place because they deserve all the success. I can’t wait to keep coming back, and I hope to see their business continue to grow. πŸ©·πŸ©·πŸ’•

Pin’s serves delicious ramen and dumplings! Service was wonderful! My Tan Tan ramen was very flavorful! We ordered a Tonkatsu black garlic and it was so carefully packaged. We will be back. I hope you give them a try! You will not be disappointed!

This place was amazing. The interior is quaint and cozy, the service was amazing, and the food… so much flavor but balanced in a manner that’s not overpowering. The Spicy Black Garlic Ramen and Tonkotsu Ramen are what we ordered and both were packed with flavor and the Chicken Fried rice is no joke the best I’ve ever had. We will be back!

Had the Black Garlic Ramen-non spicy. Highly recommend. Wavy noodles have a good chew, broth is creamy, fatty and flavorful the same goes for the pork meat, tender, I can imagine it’s slow cooked with how easy it was to chew and rich in flavor. Overall the entire bowl is well served. A very hole-in-the-wall type spot, it’s made my top favorites, will come again.

The best Ramen I ever had in Houston, I’m not kidding. I went to all these different Ramen shops and even the β€œ Michelin recognized β€œ Ramen places in Houston. Followed a few recommendations from TikTok influencers but nothing come close to this random hole in the wall Ramen shop that I so happened to stumble up upon randomly looking for a quick bite. The owner she’s very courteous and sweet even remembers my order time to time. The only broth I finish till the last drop is this woman’s ramen. I truly hope she gets the recognition that she deserves, but I’ll be lying if I didn’t admit, I appreciate the small few who knows about this place.
